As United Way
volunteer, I receive satisfaction in knowing that the cause is worthy,
and the funds are being employed to improve the lives of people in our
Community. Our United Way fundraising events
instil a sense of pride, community and
common cause.
I sometimes wonder who benefits the most from our fundraising events,
our workplace or the United Way member organizations!”

How Can We Help?
We understand that time is limited for many organizations and we want to make hosting your own Employee Workplace Campaign as effortless as possible. We suggest appointing a well respected and enthusiastic employee as the volunteer Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC) to promote the campaign, canvass employees and host a special event(s). United Way provides many tools and materials to assist the ECC and our own staff are always available to provide assistance.
United Way staff, Campaign Cabinet and representatives from our Funded Agencies are more than willing to visit your workplace and give a brief presentation to employees. A short introduction to the United Way and the campaign is an effective way to create excitement and commitment to your campaign goals!
