What is the Citizen Review Committee (CRC)?

It is a group of dedicated individuals made up of United Way Board Members and people from the community who enjoy helping mankind.

What are some of the responsibilities?

The committee is responsible for:
1. Reviewing Funding Applications registered charities make to the United Way.
2. Visiting the organizations with other committee members to learn about the great work they do in the community.
3. Analyze the visit/funding request; determine if it meets United Way criteria and the needs in the community.

What is the time commitment?

This can be very flexible; however the entire process begins approximately April and runs through to the end of May. Hours are scheduled per volunteer availability. You can volunteer as much as you would like!
